Description
The famous Bayeux tapestry depicts the battle of Hastings where the Norman knights fought against the Anglo-Saxons. These shields are inspired from the depictions of the tapestry having the same shape, size and artwork. You can choose between different options and also send us your own design should you so choose!
The shields are made of 8mm plywood, covered with strong canvas on either side and edged with vegetable tanned leather. Shields made from historically split wooden planks and different thickness are also available on request!
