Wolfhead-Cross Pendant

Description

Whilst converting to christianity people started wearing crosses. However many didn’t want to completely relinquish their old ways, and thus a weird mix of christianity and the local religions was born. A cross shaped pendant with a wolfs head is a perfect example of  such a case symbolizing both the christian God and Freki, the wolf of Odin.

This pendant is a copy of a find from Iceland.
