Description
As we know there is no archaeological evidence for any form of gauntlets for the Viking age. For those of us who still like to have full contact fights in viking gear, one of the best options is to use mail gauntlets. Mail was the predominant type of armor in the Viking age and there is plenty of evidence of mail covered mittens from slightly later eras.
These gauntlets are hand sewn from real leather, feature a thick woolen padding and are covered with a mail of alternating riveted and solid rings. For extra protection plastic plates hidden inside the padding are also available.
Shown price is per pair, single gauntlets are available on special request for 85€.
